Hackle bug jigs are created using the highest quality gear and components. Using solid brass beads and razor sharp Owner^® Hooks, the offset brass bead weight allows the jig to rest horizontally in the column of water. This allows for the most successful hook-up ratio since the hook is in the perfect orientation to plant firmly in the fish's mouth.

TWO THINGS SET HACKLE BUG JIGS APART FROM THE REST:  hackle tails and the rubber leg collar.

We only use the tail section of the hackle feather. The tail sections are very strong and can withstand multiple hook-ups. And, the use of bait and/or scent never affects the action of the feathers.

The rubber leg collar just above the chenille wrap resembles insect antennae, wings and legs in the water.

The collar, coupled with the brilliant hackle feathers, creates a vision that steelhead can't resist and often entice a bite even in the toughest of conditions.
